The Springdale Noon Kiwanis club was chartered January 7, 1946 and sponsored by the Fayetteville Kiwanis club. Early meetings of the club were held in the First Methodist Church where meals were prepared by ladies of the church. The club later met at the First Christian Church, the A.Q. Chicken House, the Trade Winds Motel, the Holiday Inn, and the Executive Inn before moving to the Western Sizzlin in 1998.
The Springdale Noon Kiwanis club is a service club chartererd to promote the principles of good citizenship and human values and to generally improve the quality of life in the Springdale area. The club is composed of approximately 150 men and women in a wide variety of occupations representing the active force of the community. Membership is open to persons of good character and community standing who reside in, or have other interest in the community of Springdale.
